If you feel studying is boring, maybe that’s because you still study in a ‘standard’ and ‘boring’ way. You can’t find it interesting if you don’t like it and you can’t find the fun of it. So, first thing first, find what makes you feel comfortable. If it comes to me, it will be ‘Music while studying is the best!’ If you like music, go find some music that makes you feel peaceful and more comfortable. You can make your own playlist that includes the favorite music of yours. But if you feel like you are the kind of person who can easily get distracted, don’t choose music or songs that have lyrics because they will distract you from studying. If you don’t like music, you can check out your favorite scene in a movie. I, personally, sometimes listen to my favorite movie scene. I know maybe that sounds weird but I love it because it comforts me and helps me stay focusing on studying. 

The next thing to do is ‘Prepare a snack!’ Don’t get hungry while studying because it will be so annoying. You can prepare some healthy snacks to eat while studying. Allowing yourself to eat occasionally will make study time more enjoyable. Plus, you can use the snacks as your reward every time you completed your task. Choose a simple snack instead of a big bag of chips like an apple or a banana. Having snacks with full vitamins is great, especially snacks rich in B vitamins such as nuts because they are so good for the brain. 

Make your study zone as comfortable as possible. Make it like it’s you. If you like it is to be quieter, you can set it up with little decoration. But if you are into more color, you can decorate with a lot of postcards, trinkets, notes from friends, or even some character figures that you love the most. But still, don’t let your study zone be too full of unnecessary items because the cleaner it is, the more focused you will be. 

Use some cool and creative stationery and equipment such as pens with many color choices, fine paper so that ink can be written smoothly, and colorful highlight markers to make it more colorful. 

Studying is not just about reading and writing, you can make your own Mind-Mapping with a simple drawing. Concepting your mind as simple as you can so that you can easily remember stuff you learned. Because easier it is the more interesting it will be, right?
