your work is not your life, its just part of your life. It means that you donāt have to pour all of your energy to concentrate only on your work things. Before jump to the advices, I need you to know that you are the only one that know what is the reason your work gives you stress and headache. Too many workloads, endless projects, the pressure from the boss were distracting you from taking a break. I want you to recognize the problem and taking a time to give yourself a break.
Often when we take a break, our mind still having its way to be anxious about things we donāt even have to think. Force yourself to take a good break that makes you forget about the office. If you can take a paid leave it would be better! Go on a short vacation which brings comfort to you. Go to the next city and eat a good lunch. Shopping is good, but enough sleep in your own home is free. Choose the best way to put off the burden from your body.
Well my last advice would be reflection. Your work life is shape the life you live. If the stress and burden are too high until it makes you uneasy and sick, you should reconsider your work. You canāt achieve a good performance if your body is unwell and your mind is exhausted. Listen to your body. Thatās why break is so important. It gives our body time to add energy. If you think you can continue the work after taking a break, donāt forget to spend time for yourself. The working hours are there tp give you boundary that separate you from your professional and personal life. Love yourself by respecting what your body and mind tells.
