To identify your own passion, you need to have a lot of failure attempt. Yes, its a tough job to think about your own passion. The word āpassionā means finding something you always think about it, working on it, and paying you because you do it. Peopleās experience on finding their own passion is different, but there are some keys that I can give to you;
- Take a time to understand yourself.
When you confuse about the passion you want to identify, you need to have a good time to know yourself inside and outside. Spent few hours to know what you are good at, your skills and abilities and then write it on your journal. Identify and list what work youāve been great the most. Add pros and cons to have more reason and consideration.
- Explore anything.
Exploring things you think you are passionate with is actually confusing. You think you already found your passion but its not working and you lose your interest. My advice is no rush about choosing what do you want to do. The failure attempt is better than in doubt and no action. Start right now!
- Ask your friend or mentor.
Asking your friend as they know you and already spent a lot of time with you. They basically know what things you were good at, so asking for a friendās advices is needed. If you can find a mentor, it would be better. The mentor usually have more experiences than you and they know how the finding passion journey is a long run because they experienced it first.
